How Urban Realities works

A short walkthrough of the site: finding a PG or a rental, posting what you are looking for, and listing a property of your own.

01

Finding a place

Everything on the site is in Bathinda, split into two boards. PGs covers paying guest accommodation: boys, girls, single and sharing rooms. Rentals covers whole homes and flats, from 1BHK upward, including shared flats.

Use Refine down the left of either board to narrow things down, then Sort by at the top right to order what is left.

PGs

Filter by who it is for, sharing arrangement, locality and rent per bed.

Rentals

Filter by configuration, property type, furnishing, locality and monthly rent.

Commercial

Shops and office space, filtered by type, carpet area, locality and rent.

02

Reading a listing

Every card shows the rent and the deposit before you open anything, so you can rule a place in or out without making a call. PG cards show the cheapest bed on offer and the sharing options behind it.

Open a listing for the photo gallery, the full address and landmark, the specification, and the distances to the bus stand and railway station.

ⓘ

Where a lister has chosen not to publish a figure, the price shows as Price on request rather than being left blank.

03

Getting in touch

Enquiries go straight to the owner or broker who posted the listing. We host the board and are not part of the arrangement you reach with them.

  1. Open the listing you are interested in.

  2. Sign in, or create an account, if you have not already. Contact details are shown to signed-in users.

  3. Use the contact form on the lister’s profile, or call the number shown on the listing.

04

Posting a requirement

If nothing on the board fits, post what you are after and let listers come to you.

  1. Sign in and open Post a requirement in your dashboard.

  2. Set the category, property type, localities you would consider, and your budget. Add the amenities that matter.

  3. Submit it. Your dashboard then shows the requirement along with how many replies it has had.

  4. Open My requirements to read the replies and reply back.

05

Listing your property

Owners and brokers list from the same dashboard. A listing is built in steps (the basics, location, floors and rooms, amenities, then photos), and each step saves as you go.

  1. Open Add Properties and pick Residential, Commercial or PG.

  2. Work through the steps. Put the rent and the deposit in: listings that show both get better enquiries.

  3. Add photos. The first one becomes the cover image on the board.

  4. Use My Property List afterwards to edit or take a listing down.

Other’s Requirement in the dashboard shows what people are currently looking for, so you can answer a requirement directly instead of waiting for an enquiry.

06

Your account

Your dashboard is where your requirements, your listings and your details live. My Profile holds the contact information listers and enquirers see, and View Public Profile shows how your profile looks to everyone else.

Change your password from Change Password in the dashboard sidebar.
